Hi , I'm trying to set up a linux gateway with one ethernet and one ISDN adapter When a i use a dynamic IP all works well, but recently a bought a static ip and where i try to use it with the isdn it doesn' t work. Can anybody help to set up the linux box with the static ip address for the isdn adapter Thanks in advance Rui Francisco

Setup your link like for dynamic IP, but enter your static IP in the local IP field and the router IP in the remote IP field. Don't select the dynamic IP select box. After saving the setup change /etc/ppp/options.ippp0 with an editor to enable the use of the interface IP, uncomment the line useifip restart i4l -- Karsten Keil SuSE Labs ISDN development
