My homeserver won't be equipped with a tape streamer device, but with a Blu-Ray burner capable to use 50GB BD-R/RE (Blu-Ray Recordable/REwriteable) Discs. I wonder if standard Linux backup tools as tar and dump have support for CD/DVD/BD devices? And what about using UDF file system here for portability (udftools)? Rgds, Terje J.
