We've been deploying our Open Source ERP IntarS mainly on Debian over the last 6 years. But recently I met Stefan and couldn't believe my eyes when he showed me how openSUSE has developed since then. So I thought, let's give it a try again and went to the openSUSE conference. And I liked it. Especially the Build-Service, SUSE Studio and the attitude or spirit of the people envolved. We're going for openSUSE now. Stefan has already successfully ported the install script of IntarS and we had it running on openSUSE. This will need some more polishing to get a package and a ISO Image or Distribution or VMWare Image in the end. How do Invis and IntarS fit together? We're in the ERP business, doing business consulting, migration, modelling, custom programming and support, deployment, configuration and of course improving our core Universal Application framework, since 1996. We don't do operating, hardware, printer-configuration, backups, configuring mailserver, faxserver, monitoring the OS and all that. At least we don't want. Instead we're seeking cooperation with local IT service providers (like fs productions). So we think it's a good idea to have the two systems integrated, forming a complete, ready to use SMB Appliance. -- mit freundlichen Gruessen/best regards Pirmin Braun seat-1 Software GmbH - Sinziger Str. 29a - 53424 Remagen +49(0)2642 308288 +49(0)163-6290887 - skype:pirminb Fax +49(0)2642 308626 http://www.seat-1.com pb@seat-1.com http://sourceforge.net/projects/intars Geschäftsführer: Pirmin Braun, Ralf Engelhardt Registergericht: Amtsgericht Coburg HRB3136 ein Unternehmen der MAX21 Gruppe - http://www.max21.de -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-invis+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-invis+help@opensuse.org
