I am getting this failure with an Intel Lion and the 7.2 "developers edition". We have a system with EFI 1.02 and the dual 733mhz chips. We are installing to a Quantum 9 Gig Ultra160 with partitioning like this: /boot 64 meg FAT SWAP 1 Giga / 7.4 Gig Reiser After selecting Default and then Development system, the format goes through and we get this error on the first package. Regards, Jon

You can download an update disk from <ftp://ftp.suse.com/pub/people/schwab/7.2-ia64/7.2-ia64.update-disk>. Just write this image with dd onto a LS120 diskette and insert it during installation. Then you will be able to properly install into a reiserfs partition. Andreas. -- Andreas Schwab "And now for something SuSE Labs completely different."
