Hi all, I received my Lion Qual system last friday and after updating the BIOS from 73 to 75, 76, 79 I encountered the following problem while installing SuSE 7.1 Beta ( 9-mar-2001 ): After installing the first CD and the first successful reboot of linux I tried to configure the graphic card using SaX which failed. The graphic card ATI Rage 128 seems to be recognized, but somehow V_BIOS cannot be read (whatever it means). Maybe it has something to do with the fact that the ATI Rage 128 is part of the legacy board and not part of a graphic card ? Is this a known issue ? Is there a fix or workaround available ? I'll attach /var/log/SaX.log and /var/log/Xfree86.0.log to this mail.
