-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi, I got the email included below out of the blue. I don't know what it is, who sends it to me direct (not to a list), or why. I don't understand, either, what it is talking about. Etherpad? What is that? It says: List-Id: <redmine.opensuse.org> but there are no unsubscribe headers. No "To:" header either. I don't remember having subscribed to it, and it doesn't come from the openSUSE mail list server. It also says to write to admin@opensuse.org for more info - but that address is for opening tickets. An email to that will open a new ticket. What gives? - -- Baffled, Carlos E. R. To get some impressions about the usage of our Etherpad instance, we also enabled the [ether-o-meter](https://www.npmjs.com/package/ep_ether-o-meter) plugin now, which is now producing some nice live graphs and statistics here: https://etherpad.opensuse.org/metrics We also enabled some additional styles now and hope this makes the usage of Etherpad even more fun and productive for you. If you want to have some more modules enabled (or just want to say "hello"), feel free to contact us! Either via an Email to admin@opensuse.org or by reaching out for us at irc.opensuse.org channel #opensuse-admin. - -- You have received this notification because you have either subscribed to it, or are involved in it. It is no doubt a notification to all Heroes, it looks like Lars added a News item. -- Per Jessen, Zürich (3.6°C) Member, openSUSE Heroes
Hi Carlos I'm sorry that I produced some confusion on your side. That was not my intention. Instead of spamming some mailing lists or news.opensuse.org with - most of the time - uninteresting stuff for most of our users (while on the other side I want to keep those who might be interested in these little admin topics up-to date), I decided in the past to put smaller news only into our openSUSE heroes ticket system. You can get an overview of these news here: https://progress.opensuse.org/projects/opensuse-admin/news They are public and even reachable via an atom feed (which should also be included in planet.opensuse.org). As you might see, I'm not writing there since today. So I assume that either someone changed something in Redmine(?) or these personal notification Emails were hold back in the past by some spam filter or similar. To get rid of the notifications, please log in and visit: https://progress.opensuse.org/my/account => here you should be able to configure the Email notifications for your account. With kind regards, Lars

Thanks for the explanation. It wasn't really about unsubscribing, but about knowing what was it about. -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R. (from 15.2 x86_64 at Telcontar)
