It seems your team doesn't really know what's going on. And that's okay, you haven't been involved :-)
Next to nothing can be done without access to the server. No MTA/MLM logs can be read to investigate problems, you can't unsubscribe people, create new lists, change list options, start/stop services etc.
Access to the lists.o.o server can be given to a non-SUSE employee as soon as we put a rule in the proxy, which we're willing to do. What we can't give is access to the SUSE MX server, but even there some configs are in git and we're willing to open more.
But if your team wants to take over and organize this differently and change this, be my guest. Do you want to?
Sure, I'm willing to help on the technical part but I don't want to be alone there, I'd appreciate if somebody from the community would step up to help as well :) I'm not interested on the social part though Theo

Awesome, please do so :-) When is this going to happen?

This is great! Please point them to the heroes mailing list and the #opensuse-admin channel to introduce themselves as well :) -- Theo Chatzimichos <tampakrap@opensuse.org> <tchatzimichos@suse.com> System Administrator SUSE Operations and Services Team
