news.lists - subscription policy ?
I have two pending subscription requests for news.lists.o.o, does anyone happen to know the subscription policy ? the list currently has only 12 members. -- Per Jessen, Zürich (2.3°C) Member, openSUSE Heroes

Its a private list, I didn't even know it existed or what its for, given that it is private it probably didn't show up in the archive last time the board cleaned up mailing lists. If Doug (or someone else) doesn't know what its for maybe its worth sending the list a message and closing it. The twelve members seems to be either internal (suse.de addresses) or those of former board-members (I think). The list description is "Article submissions to the openSUSE News".

Yep, I was the one who implemented the changes. :-) -- Per Jessen, Zürich (2.9°C) Member, openSUSE Heroes

From that description, i'd as Doug and the Marketing team, as the people responsible for content on news.o.o if they believe the list still has any value and if not close it. It's certainly not something the board has been involved in in the 3 years i've been on it.
