Who can update DNS for me?
google is rejecting our outgoing messages to gmail (and other hosted domains), most probably because 2620:113:80c0:8::16 has no PTR record.
In the last 24hours, 1933 messages to 769 recipients were rejected.
Here is one of the bounces:
<james.knott@jknott.net>: host ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM[2a00:1450:400c:c04::1a] said: 550-5.7.1 [2620:113:80c0:8::16] Our system has detected that this message does 550-5.7.1 not meet IPv6 sending guidelines regarding PTR records and 550-5.7.1 authentication. Please review 550-5.7.1 https://support.google.com/mail/?p=IPv6AuthError for more information 550 5.7.1 . s5si1908312wmf.81 - gsmtp (in reply to end of DATA command)
They forgot to get the PTR records changed with MF IT ... for now we went back to the old IPv6 address range on baloo and changed it in DNS server as well.
Thorsten, were you able to fix the problem on the outgoing server (relay.i.o.o ) ? 2620:113:80c0:8::16
Looks like Google is still bouncing our messages.
Is this issue fixed? Theo
