How to define a username like anonymous and the password for FTP-PROXY
Dear My Friends.... I have an application and it needs a connection to the internet through ftp-proxy. So that's why I am trying to installed and configure ftp-proxy with SuSE Proxy Suite. I can launche my SuSE Proxy Suite without any error message. But my client still can not connecting to the destination ftp server through my ftp-proxy server (192.168.23.2). I hypotize that that's because I have not define the account that may doing connection through my ftp-proxy server. But I don't know how to define the account. If I executed these commands from my client computer under below : "ftp --> open 192.168.23.2 ", it gave me the right/expected result because it displayed welcoming message that I have defined in "/etc/proxy-suite/ftp-welcome.txt" . But I don't know with which username and password to login into my ftp-proxy because I think I have never define this account. I want my client can connect with "anonymous" and their e-mail address as the password . But again, I don't know how to define it. Another quiestion : "Is there any relationship/cooperation between ftp-proxy (my SuSE Proxy Suite) and FTP Server (my ProFTPd) those I put on the same machine. Please... I need your help. Thank you very much in advance. ps. I want to attach my "/etc/proxy-suite/ftp-proxy.conf" file and my "/etc/proftpd.conf" file but I am affraid that that is forbidden in this mailing list and disturbing some of you. __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
