How do I compile a 2.2.14 kernel to include amateur radio support? Please could you also tell me if there are any linux equivalents for Hamcomm and JVfax?

If you are using a SuSE-Kernel you do not have to compile a new one ! It is allready included as modul. For example if you type: modprobe mkiss as root there should be no error.
Please could you also tell me if there are any linux equivalents for Hamcomm and JVfax? Not sure. For sstv with a soundcard there is Qsstv. http://home.tiscalinet.be/on1mh_ham/qsstv/qsstv.htm
