DCF receiver as frequency normal ?
Hi. Up here in Denmark we used to use the Kalundborg Longwave transmitter as frequency normal for frequency coumters. This did stop at the first of year 2007 as the station closed. I then thought, if I could use many of the DCF clocks I have here in the house. Hi Erik (We better do this in English - not to many non-OZ hams read Danish) We have used a DCF receiver at OZ7SAT to keep the clock in the PC accurate. We have since moved to used NTP instead, so the issue is somewhat moot. I know that this is not what you ask for, but I believe that the one second pulses coming from a DCF receiver are pretty accurate, so I don't see why it should not be possible to use a DCF receiver as a frequency normal. Hello All, I am having a problem with XMLog (http://www.xmlog.com) that occurred on my OpenSuSE v10.3 on a AMD-64x2 4000. The Telnet window has disappeared off the screen. I checked the configuration file and change the top and left variables for location, but it won't reappear. Has anyone else run into this problem?
