Hello all, Last night I downloaded Linpsk and compiled it to run under SuSE LinuxPPC 7.1 on my PowerCenter Pro 180 (604e, 112 mB RAM) successfully. This is more advanced PSK31 software than twpsk, which comes with the standard SuSE distribution. There were two issues I encountered: 1. SuSE 7.1 uses Qt 2.2.3 instead of 1.4, so follow the README directions to direct the compiler to use that directory. 2. During compilation, the process stopped when the script was unable to locate a "moc" file it needed. It was looking in the Qt directory, not the Qt 2.2.3 directory. I made a symlink to create a "bin" file in the Qt directory that redirected everything to the Qt 2.2.3 directory and the program built properly. I like Linpsk. It seems to have many more features and a better GUI than twpsk. I still do not have an interface to connect it to a radio, but will buy one now that the software works. -- 73 de Tom / K3ORC *** Home page at toad.net/~tdove/ *** * Sailing, genealogy, ham radio *
