[opensuse-gnome] It (still) fails to Install Banshee 2.1 on openSUSE 11.4
Hi! I know Nelson Marques has succeeded to install Banshee 2.1[0], but it still fails to install it on my openSUSE 11.4 machine. It still requires (mono) dbus-sharp-* (?) to get done: # zypper install banshee banshee-core Loading repository data... Reading installed packages... Resolving package dependencies... 2 Problems: Problem: nothing provides mono(dbus-sharp) = 1.0.0.0 needed by banshee-core-2.1.0-14.1.x86_64 Problem: nothing provides mono(dbus-sharp) = 1.0.0.0 needed by banshee-core-2.1.0-14.1.x86_64 Problem: nothing provides mono(dbus-sharp) = 1.0.0.0 needed by banshee-core-2.1.0-14.1.x86_64 Solution 1: do not install banshee-core-2.1.0-14.1.x86_64 Solution 2: break banshee-core by ignoring some of its dependencies Choose from above solutions by number or skip, retry or cancel [1/2/s/r/c] (c): # zypper lr -d | grep banshee 3 | banshee| banshee | Yes | Yes | 99 | rpm-md | http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/Banshee:/Unstable/Banshee_openSUSE... | Are other repositories need to be added to solve the issue[1]? Hi, Ok, here's the explanation... when installing through the 1-Click installer it adds both Banshee and Banshee:Unstable repositories, so it works fine (I did tested it this way). If we add Banshee:Unstable without adding the Banshee repository it will fail to pick up that dependency. I'm working on it will be fixed today. There's also another issue I'm checking with Gabriel regarding mono-addins package, but there both will be fixed today :) NM 2011/6/27 Andi Sugandi <andisugandi@gmail.com>:

Hi,
Sorry for double-posting: to the opensuse-gnome list (yesterday) and to you (today) afterward. I have a problem[0] on sending this message to the list (and other openSUSE Lists actually), and maybe now the message was already arrived.
