[opensuse-gnome] for core developers of expert partitioner
Dear core developers of Expert Partitioner, This tool can be found in yast and would work fine, but the used external tool for removing partitions is not working reliably. The error is not caused by incorrect transfer of values from The user interface to The external tool, but The algorithm in The external tool, which is used for removing partitions is not correctly vipe all partition related data, so Opensuse can not be reinstalled. The newest version of gparted is using better solution and partitions are removed correctly, so Opensuse can be reinstalled. Would You tell me The exact name and version number of external tool, which You are using while removing The disk partitions in Expert Partitioner? I will directly contact The core developer of this tool. I would also like to suggest The core developers of Expert Partitioner, if they could integrate The algorithm for disabling The svap file, because if user is using The Opensuse Live Cd for removing all partitions, which are used by previously installed Opensuse distribution, user can not remove The svap partition. If it is too complex, please try atleast to tell The management of Opensuse Project, if it would be possible to compile and make awailable The latest version of Gparted which will be awailable in The time of official Opensuse distro will be published. Thank You very much. The kindness regards. Janusz Chmiel -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+help@opensuse.org
