[opensuse-gnome] Applications autostart in GNOME
Hello listmates, I noticed that after dist-upgrade 11.1 to 11.2, my Gnome autostart apps. stopped to works: no more apps autostart after logged in. Yesterday I tried to add a new one app. (software update) to the ones existing from previous 11.1 configuration and it seems to work as expected: it autostarts correctly. Wonder if it is necessary to reload all the apps. I will to autostart from scratch, or is there a reset/reconfiguration procedure I can follow to resolve this issue. Thank for your attention. Sounds weird. How did you configure your apps to autostart? Vincent -- Les gens heureux ne sont pas pressés. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+help@opensuse.org

Hi Vincent! They were been configured in the old 11.1 edition, through Sessions--> auto start; after I upgraded to 11.2, I found them on same place (inside Sessions), but now they do not "auto start" any more. That certainly shouldn't happen. Can you look at ~/.config/autostart and attach one of the desktop file there from such an application? Hi Vincent, You mean trying to setting up some app. directly into ~/.config/autostart? Marco -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+help@opensuse.org

No, I'd like to know which applications you configured to autostart, and see its file from ~/.config/autostart. If there's no such file there, then that's either not an application you manually configured to autostart, or well, it's gone.
