[opensuse-gnome] Face browser for 11.0 GDM?

I noticed on the GNOME Desktop Policy page (http://en.opensuse.org/GNOME/Desktop_Policy) and noticed that under GDM, Face Browser was marked as off. Could adding a face browser to GDM in 11.0 as default be an idea? I think that would be a good idea, since it tends to be more intuitive for most users than just a white box ;). -- Kevin "Yo" Dupuy | Public Email: <kevin@kevinsword.com> Happy New Year from Yo.media! -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+help@opensuse.org

I agree with that. A Face Browser turns the user experience into something easier. Kind regards, CF -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+help@opensuse.org

The in-development GDM 2.21 series uses a face browser by default. I've submitted 2.21.5 to STABLE, but it's on hold pending some problems to sort out. The downside of 2.21 is that the refactoring is not quite done, and many features are still missing. Hopefully we can make the best of it. -- Hans Petter -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+help@opensuse.org
