[opensuse-gnome] Another bug in Gnome 3.8: Removable media preferences
Dear All, I would like to report another bug in Gnome 3.8. It would seem that the preferences selected in the "removable media" entry in the "details" panel of the settings center is not respected. For example, for "CD audio" I selected "Ask waht to do". I put a CD Audio in the reader and nothing happens. I can see the disk in Nautilus or open an audio player and play it, but the prompt that should ask what to do never appears. BTW, I was wondering if this is the right place to report this kind of bugs, of if I should report them on the novell bugzilla website. I am asking because I see very very low activity, here. Please don' t take this as a criticism and don't take my bug reports as complaints, I just would like to help. If some of the developers are reading this mailing list, it would be cool if they could just show that they received the bug report. Even two words, like "OK I read it!" would be great.. However, if this is not the right place or the right way to report these bugs, please point me to the right one. Thank you!! Dear All,

Might be a wrong interaction between various components; best to create a bug with systemd-journalctl output and if possible also a trace of dbus-monitor (I suspect something is blocking us... which might be udisks2 related).
BTW, I was wondering if this is the right place to report this kind of bugs, of if I should report them on the novell bugzilla website. I am asking because I see very very low activity, here. Please don' t take this as a criticism and don't take my bug reports as complaints, I just would like to help. Yeah.. sorry for that... I try to keep up with multiple things :) - GNOME 3.8. in Factory - GNOME 3.8.1 in GNOME:STABLE:3.8 (it's all there.. just waiting for OBS to publish it) - Pre-work of GNOME 3.10 for Factory / openSUSE 13.1 - Supporting users and once in a while I try to catch some sleep :)
However, if this is not the right place or the right way to report these bugs, please point me to the right one. Thank you!!
I'd say: if you don't get an answer in due time, file a bug. The mailing list is good to have quick help on some stuff, but for analysis of issues might not always be the right thing. And if you have knowledge and spare time, please join the GNOME Team and actively help us fix bugs.. I see you DO have the knowledge it takes to get started...
