[opensuse-gnome] new GNOME:UNSTABLE status
Hallo. As you may know, OpenSUSE Build Service now supports all required rewriting rules to provide easy backporting of packages for older distributions. That is why I decided to discontinue manual syncing of packages from Factory to GNOME:UNSTABLE.
From now on, nearly all packages in GNOME:UNSTABLE will be only a links to openSUSE:Factory.
Only packages not present in Factory or not backportable will be maintained separately. The only problem I see just now will be the lack of debuginfo packages. But I hope that Factory will include %debug_package soon. It also means, that packages will not appear in GNOME:UNSTABLE in advance to Factory, but in parallel. -- Best Regards / S pozdravem, Stanislav Brabec software developer --------------------------------------------------------------------- SUSE LINUX, s. r. o. e-mail: sbrabec@suse.cz Lihovarská 1060/12 tel: +420 284 028 966 190 00 Praha 9 fax: +420 284 028 951 Czech Republic http://www.suse.cz/ -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+help@opensuse.org
