[opensuse-gnome] Artwork for GNOME
Hi, We need to provide some Artwork through our repositories. Within my modest knowledge about OBS, I'm meeting this weekend 2 other Portuguese enthusiasts for a small howto on OBS, and since this is for starters, I'll start them up with Artwork packaging, since it's pretty plain. Now before I push to Projects a generic 'Artwork' Repository (which is kinda overkill since KDE has it own stuff), I was wondering if we could do it within GNOME (ex: GNOME:Artwork). If this sounds attractive, what would be the best way to give it a go. So far I guess I will be the only one working for it (adding artwork, mainly metathemes with 5K+ downloads on gnome-look.org and with active development, and keeping updated dependencies, for example GTK engines). I hope this 2 Portuguese people do give a hand on this at least on the start. Artwork does 'sell', look at some obscene numbers on gnome-look. If anyone experienced could guide me through on this it would be most appreciated. nm -- nelson marques nmo.marques@gmail.com -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+help@opensuse.org

NB the automatic packaging of stuff on eg opendesktop.org sites is what Project Bretzn addresses. This would enable content creators to automatically package your gnome-look.org artwork in the OBS. Frank is currently looking for people to finish the gnome client libs for Bretzn, and IMO this would be a better time investment than manually packaging artwork yourself.
