[opensuse-gnome] Cannot login to openSUSE after install
Hi, I'm facing some problems logging into my existing /home login after installing openSUSE 12.1. The / and /home are separate and the /home partition has a separate folder with all of my data. When I try to login after an installation, it throws me back to the login screen. I may have to ensure that the right permissions are set for my /home/<username> directory....can someone guide me on how to do this? Thanks! -Anshul -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+owner@opensuse.org

Thanks! -Anshul If it's KDE you may have a problem with effects. If it was set as enabled previously, it still is. Alt+SHIFT+F12 will toggle it off Or boot to IceWM and edit it in the settings
Be careful too, there is a bug in the login with typing the password. Try doing it very slowly and carefully. It's the 2nd digit that is the problem. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+owner@opensuse.org
