[opensuse-gnome] Gnome:Apps misses dependency for OpenSUSE 11.3
Hi, I tried to update the package gwibber-2.31.90-32.2 from Gnome:Apps and found a missing dependency for OpenSUSE 11.3 (possibly for more distros): python-markupsafe which can be currently found only in the devel:languages:python repository. Seems like python-markupsafe got to be added to Gnome:Apps, also. Thanks, René -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+help@opensuse.org

What's our policy on this? Seems to me that we can't go replicating packages that already exist in another development project. (Personally, I just have d:l:python enabled) -- James Ogley (riggwelter) openSUSE Member GNOME Team and Planet SUSE e: riggwelter@opensuse.org w: http://opensuse.org/GNOME t: @riggwelter w: http://www.planetsuse.org openSUSE: Get It, Discover It, Create It at http://www.opensuse.org -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+help@opensuse.org

I don't think they should go in G:A. A solution could be to add a GNOME:Apps:11.3 project which would contain those packages, though. It'd work a bit like the GNOME:Backports project. d:l:python is in community repositories in YaST. That should be enough IMHO. -- James Ogley (riggwelter) openSUSE Member GNOME Team and Planet SUSE e: riggwelter@opensuse.org w: http://opensuse.org/GNOME t: @riggwelter w: http://www.planetsuse.org openSUSE: Get It, Discover It, Create It at http://www.opensuse.org -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+help@opensuse.org
