[opensuse-gnome] Package Drops
There were two other potential package drops that I forgot about and that are not currently bugs: 1) Drop contact-lookup-applet Vincent has a story here 2) glade-2 Can we call this completely replaced by glade-3? -JP -- JP Rosevear <jpr@novell.com> Novell, Inc. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+help@opensuse.org

Ooh, tell us a story Vincent! Personally, I use this so if we're going to drop it, I'll adopt it for G:C. I also think having the option to send mail quickly and easily without having to have Evolution open (or indeed wait for its full version to open first) is an argument in favour of keeping it. -- James Ogley, openSUSE Member: GNOME Team and Planet SUSE. riggwelter@opensuse.org http://opensuse.org/GNOME http://planetsuse.org openSUSE: Get It, Discover It, Create It at http://www.opensuse.org -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+help@opensuse.org

Vincent has a story here
Yep. I quickly discussed with Ross. The long-term plan would be to kill the applet thanks to deskbar and/or some reusable evolution widget. But it's not going to happen right now, so we should keep it, I guess. I tried to see if deskbar would be enough to replace it, but it clearly doesn't do as much as contact-lookup-applet.
2) glade-2
Can we call this completely replaced by glade-3?
We should. glade-2 is dead upstream, now. Vincent -- Les gens heureux ne sont pas pressés. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+help@opensuse.org
