Hi, I got upgraded to GNOME 2.30 this morning through the Factory/openSUSE_11.2 repo. Overall GNOME feels snappy and fast. But Evolution seems to be really borked up. Evolution shows only the Contacts component and not the Mail, Calendar etc. A screenshot at :- http://www.imagebam.com/image/e00b9c74296963
Weird, and absolutely no idea what would cause this :/ Anybody from the evo team that could quickly look at this?

False alarm, I later on noticed that evolution-data-server was not installed. Now its all fine :) My apologies for it..I did notice another thing, everything in Evo seems to be "center jusitified" as opposed to "left justified". The emails in vertical view, the switcher buttons etc are all "center justified". Also, there is no Rhythmbox in the 2.30 repos :( Is there going to be an /Apps repo for 2.30 which contains all of the Apps compiled against 2.30? Doesn't it work if you just add the GNOME:Apps project? (Apps shouldn't need to be compiled against 2.30 to use the 2.30 libraries) Vincent -- Les gens heureux ne sont pas pressés. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+help@opensuse.org

Nope, rhythmbox has to uninstalled as it depends on the 2.28 version of evolution-data-server, the same is the case with tracker. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+help@opensuse.org

Ah right. Hrm. I guess it'll have to wait until we create a G:S:2.30 project. I'd prefer to avoid adding a new G:F/11.2 target to GNOME:Apps since it will rebuild quite often... Oops, forgot to reply. No idea here. Magnus, Dominique, any opinion? Vincent -- Les gens heureux ne sont pas pressés. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+help@opensuse.org
