[opensuse-gnome] 11.2 Gnome update VS STABLE:2.28

Hi, Some confusion in my mind about which repo contains the latest pkg version among official update 11.2 repository and /repositories/GNOME:/STABLE:/2.28/openSUSE_11.2 ?? I ran a dist-upgrade disabling the STABLE:/2.28 repo and then I've got a problem with gdm login which stuck and never starts. So I'm currently using kdm into /etc/sysconfig/displaymanager as temporary solution. I believed that update repository was the ultimate pkg updates source, but perhaps I am wrong in this case. G:S:2.28 is supposed to be a superset of the updates from 11.2; so G:S:2.28 can potentially be a bit more recent.
I ran a dist-upgrade disabling the STABLE:/2.28 repo and then I've got a problem with gdm login which stuck and never starts.
Hrm, gdm is the same in both G:S:2.28 and the 11.2 updates. How and where is it stuck? Anything in the logs? Vincent -- Les gens heureux ne sont pas pressés. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+help@opensuse.org
