[opensuse-gnome] Restoring places menu
I'm using GNOME Classic. I did some updates over the weekend, and one of these was an update for KDE. I don't remember exactly what this was, I didn't pay close attention. Afterwards, the places menu in the top bar switched from nautilus to dolphin in super user mode. This happened once before, and logging out and starting a new session restored it. That doesn't work now. Can you tell me where the configuration for this menu is? It's not much use now. I have openSUSE Leap 42.2, by the way. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+owner@opensuse.org

The very same happens in SLES12SP3. Install qdirstat. The new desktop file has mimetypes similar to org.gnome.nautilus. Once it is installed, selecting entries from the "Places" menu opens qdirstat instead of Nautilus. There is no GUI for selecting the default app for "inode/directory" or "inode/mount". Assuming these are the ones that trigger when using the "Places" menu. Olaf
