[opensuse-gnome] OSC 2012
Hi, The only OSC I've been into was 2010; unfortunatly I've spent most of my time hanging with KDE people and not GNOME people (sad story, I know). I've subscribed for the conference today and I'm going to attend OSC2012; Though I've submited a talk (about how to build RPMs from scratch for starters), even if it doesn't get approved, I'll be around. Are any activities schedules in the ambit of GNOME? NM Nry隊Z)z{.'g{.n+Ǩrim0ޙz&{0Ǩ

I don't think anyone started planning things, but it's not too early :-) One thing where we could progress, imho, is the handling of bugs for released versions of openSUSE. A few people are working on them, but many bugs simply get ignored. There's no magical way to solve this, so we need some ideas -- and a face-to-face discussion can help. Hi Vincent, I've tried to fix a few ones yesterday, and found out a few bugs that have been fixed but the entries are still open in the bugzilla; I will compile a list today once I arrive home and share so that anyone can actually confirm they have been solved and close them (this was for 12.2). I'll check later about GNOME2 and 11.4 and see if i can do something about it. As for the conference, I'll be there, so if some activity is to be done, it would be great to be on the weekend. I'll fly to Prague on Friday and return back to Portugal on monday. If someone can share where the GNOME people will stay, let me know so I can book on the same place (I'm not requesting sponsorship and I'll pay my own expenses).
