[opensuse-gnome] GNOME, Compiz, but no window manager
All my 11.2 upgrades have gone swimmingly, except on. On the machine I use the most - of course. :) Everything "works". I can log into GNOME, and 3D effects are enabled, and the display is perfect. Except I have no window manager (windows are not decorated and I can't switch windows). If I run "metacity &" in a gnome-terminal then I can operate but all the windows have a semi-transparent border around them (although geometry seems to be working correctly). I assume this is because the compiz window manager component isn't starting? "gtk-window-decorator" is running, as is "compiz" and "compiz-manager". Any suggestions? -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+help@opensuse.org
