[opensuse-gnome] GNOME 3 & Dynamic WEP / Protected EAP / MSCHAPv2
People, My University WiFi is done through Dynamic WEP / Protected EAP / MSCHAPv2. This has always worked fine with NetworkManager on GNOME2, but with GNOME3 after it's properly configured it just resets to WEP and keeps asking for password (and doesn't assume the Dynamic WEAP/PEAP/MSCHAPv2 configurations. I haven't opened a bug report before asking here as people might probably be aware of something that I might be missing.... -- Nelson Marques /* As cicatrizes lembram-nos de onde estivemos, mas não ditam para onde vamos */ -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+help@opensuse.org

First, wait for 3.0.1 release and retest (there are fixes in GNOME-Shell). Second, WPA-Enterprise support is "kind of broken" atm in the GNOME Shell / GNOME Control Center integration upstream (see https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=646210 ) Try to force fallback mode and in the "old" nm-applet, check if it works fine. If it does, open a bug report upstream against GNOME Shell. If it doesn't, open a bug report upstream against NetworkManager.
