[opensuse-gnome] GNOME screensaver in Leap 15.1
What's happened to the GNOME screensaver in 3.26? It's a separate package in Tumbleweed, and I can't find it for Leap 15.1. I can't lock my computer without it. The command gnome-screensaver-command is not found. Jon Cosby -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+owner@opensuse.org

Jon Cosby Hi There is no gnome-screensaver (and hasn't been since 13.1....) you must be getting it from a third party repository... does it even work?
There is no package in Tumbleweed, if using the search page, it's not correct... -- Cheers Malcolm °¿° SUSE Knowledge Partner (Linux Counter #276890) Tumbleweed 20190527 | GNOME Shell 3.32.1 | 5.1.4-1-default Intel DQ77MK MB | i5-3470S X4 @ 3.60 GHz | Nvidia GeForce 8800 GT up 2 days 15:33, 2 users, load average: 1.01, 0.70, 0.44 -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+owner@opensuse.org

Previously, up until oS 42.3, I've used the power settings and the lock button extension. The button now brings up an error message about command not found. Entering it in the terminal is the same. The system doesn't automatically lock after the time in the settings, either. Here's the package I found for Tumbleweed: https://software.opensuse.org/package/gnome-screensaver You're right, it doesn't come up in a search from the software page. I came across it through an external search. Thanks. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+owner@opensuse.org

Thanks. Hi Which lock screen extension, this one perhaps? https://extensions.gnome.org/extension/83/lock-screen/
If so, it has not been updated to work with 3.26... -- Cheers Malcolm °¿° SUSE Knowledge Partner (Linux Counter #276890) Tumbleweed 20190527 | GNOME Shell 3.32.1 | 5.1.4-1-default Intel DQ77MK MB | i5-3470S X4 @ 3.60 GHz | Nvidia GeForce 8800 GT up 3 days 1:39, 2 users, load average: 1.16, 1.11, 0.64 -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+owner@opensuse.org

A lock button was added to the status menu. It's not there this morning. Maybe the developer is reading this thread. Can you help me get the lock screen working?
