[opensuse-gnome] unusual scroll behaviour in SLE12
Whenever someone is working on this SLE12SP2 desktop there is a huge surprise when the scrollbar is used in LibreOffice or Firefox. The expected behaviour is that a single click scrolls down exactly one page, instead of jumping down to a random location. YaST and chromium, as Qt applications, show the expected behaviour. Looking through the "tuning app" there is appearently no GUI knob to fix the bad behaviour. Olaf

It can be confiugured in the GTK3 settings (there is no gui frontend to it afaik(: https://developer.gnome.org/gtk3/unstable/GtkSettings.html#GtkSettings- -gtk-primary-button-warps-slider => edit ~/.config/gtk-3.0/settings.ini and add [Settings] gtk-primary-button-warps-slider = false Cheers, Dominique

Works for gedit, fails for Firefox and LibreOffice. In general I would expect that such things get patched out upfront. Instead, we let the Poetterings of GTK taint our distro... Olaf

They are still running gtk2..
