Here's a list of package that exists in G:C, but not in G:F. These are candidates to be moved to Contrib as long as they don't depend on packager newer than what's in the distro.

These packages are currently in home:hfiguiere:Factory because they are needed by AbiWord.

This one is in a home:*:Factory and is also needed by AbiWord. Should probably be moved.
I think that none of the packages officially in the distribution should be in a home:*:Factory project.

I completely agree. It'd be nice if you could start the process to move them to G:F.

Given some examples below I think this list is a bit misleading. (I didn't take part on the meeting though). The subject implies that these can be candidates for Contrib but what the list shows are a set of packages which are in G:C but not in G:F. The result has IMHO only partly to do with a discussion about what to move to "Contrib". G:F doesn't have all packages (for whatever reason) which are Gnome and in official openSUSE (like gimp-branding-openSUSE and probably others I don't recognize at first glance; Hub brought up some examples already).
I'd have expected a diff between G:C and openSUSE:Factory because Contrib only will have additional packages and no replacements. But anyway that's a starting point so thanks for the list.

Yes, a simple diff between G:F and G:C generated this list.

We need to figure out what packages to move from the list. How about I word it differently: "These are potential candidates..."?

I guess I could have compared it to oS:F but for some reason (which I can not explain) I thought G:F would do it.
