[opensuse-gnome] Some mono packages...
Guys, I'm asking this an advice... Should I submit an update request / new package for dbus-sharp-glib and some updates for mono packages in Factory ? I'm not really sure why they are not being updated while in Mono there's updated packages (even compared to Mono:Factory). I don't want to override no one, but I just think the whole situation is sad. I've sent some emails to the MOno maintainers, but got no replies and 3 returned as no longer active. I mean, it's not really my attitude to go after people... but it seems we might have to deal with orphan packages... As someone pointed to me, Fedora has a policy to handle this cases, and in openSUSE, wtf do we do? Yeah, just submit the updates. The Mono people are probably too busy these days at Xamarin. Thanks for catching the missing pieces :) Federico -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+help@opensuse.org

Hi, I have access to most of the mono projects on OBS. Lets get together and work on this. I have a good idea of what they worked on and how they did things. Cheers, Stephen PS. I'll chat with you on IRC. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+help@opensuse.org

Hi, Ok as we spoke on IRC (me and sshaw) we're creating a Mono:Cleanup to fix the packaging for all the supported versions and then if we dont find issues we will SR them to Mono and Mono:Factory and from there update openSUSE:Factory packages, so we get this stuff rocking :) Thanks all, I'll keep everyone informed.
