[opensuse-gnome] Subpixel hinting does not work on openSUSE 11.0
Hi there! I installed modified freetype packages with subpixel hinting included, but the problem is that Gnome Terminal is the only GNOME application for which subpixel hinting works. It works just fine for non GNOME applications. I'm using openSUSE 11.0 x86_64. Does anyone experienced the same problem? If so, is there any workaround or something we could solve the problem? We have had bugs similar to this one in the past. For historical reasons, GNOME uses a different way of configuring fonts than the default ~/.fonts.conf. This is being changd to respect the user's and system's settings, so that all apps will get the same options for font rendering.
