[opensuse-gnome] desktop profile editor
Hello guys, Is there any chance that the "desktop profile editor" AKA Sabayon will work with the "Slab" and other new menus soon? -- James Tremblay aka, SLEducator Director of Technology Newmarket School District Newmarket NH 03857 Founder http://en.opensuse.org/education "Let's make a difference!" For reference, James is talking about https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=340343 and related issues. In theory, Sabayon and gnome-main-menu used to "just work" together when g-m-m used GConf to save its configuration data for the favorite applications. However, it was later switched to put its configuration for favorite apps in $XDG_DATA_HOME/gnome-main-menu/applications.xbel (which normally resolves to ~/.local/...). Sabayon should be monitoring those directories just fine, but maybe it's screwing up for some reason. I'll play with this and see what's up; we can probably release an update after openSUSE 11 final is out.
