In Beta1 the logout in main menu doesn't work and in Beta2 the Logout and Shutdown dialogs come up (from libssui) but they also don't work.
If you go into the gnome-control-center (which is missing from main-menu in Beta2 so you can hit Alt-F2 and type in gnome-control-center) and disable the Assistive Technologies, the logout and shutdown items will work in Beta1 and Beta2.
It would appear that some of the changes in the 2.19 gnome-session code is causing some problems... still being looked at but you can follow it with bug 302316 if you are interested.

I just realized my instructions are incomplete... how does one logout? Here are the full instructions from the bug:
hit Alt-F2 and type in gnome-control-center Click on the "Assistive Technology Preferences" un-check the "Enable assistive technlologies" and click Close hit Alt-F2 and type in "libssui-tool --logout" without the quotes logout and back in, logout and shutdown now work
