[opensuse-gnome] Banshee
Hi all, I can't really understand why are the submissions for Banshee taking too long to get reviewed. I can only see 2 options to get this stuff done: 1. Write permissions as maintainer of the package, so i don't need to relly on anyone else to get stuff done; 2. File a submission for changing the development project back to Banshee repositories. Please advice, NM -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+owner@opensuse.org

This was mentioned in the meeting last week, iirc: we're late with various things, including several outstanding submissions (not just banshee). Dominique has been handling most of the burden recently, and I've been working on other things (in addition to personal changes eating more time I had anticipated). The dust is settling, though, so things should go back to normal.

If you believe this is really necessary, we can go for option 2 quite easily. But I'd hope the close return to normal situation would make you happy enough :-) Cheers, Vincent -- Les gens heureux ne sont pas pressés. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+owner@opensuse.org

Hi, We don't need to go that far yet, we made this change because we believed it would be an improvement, and so far it has not been harmful, on the contrary, we even benefitted from your attention a few times and a patch :) It's just that submission was made minutes after the release, like a few others in the past... I got fond to see other says "It will be available next monday", and we already have it available :) I've been also away a bit and will continue for at least 3 months more, but we can't slack :/ NM PS: Merry christmas all !
Cheers,
Vincent
