[opensuse-gnome] Dropping ggreeter

Funny thing: ggreeter is crashin in factory. Nobody noticed. And I don't know of anybody really fond of this. Can we just finally kill it? :-) Vincent -- Les gens heureux ne sont pas pressés. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+help@opensuse.org

I'm ok with this. Since its crashing and I'm assuming that no one is maintaining it anymore we should get rid of it. One it saves some space and possible some boot time (2 ms ;) Stephen -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+help@opensuse.org

Each of us sees it only once, I guess, and new users usually close it without reading ;) . -- Best regards, Jakub 'Livio' Rusinek http://blog.jakubrusinek.pl/ -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+help@opensuse.org

Ideally it would do something useful, like offering to import or tweak settings like the Ximian Doorman would do back in the day, but removal is the next best option, and more realistic :) -- Hans Petter -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+help@opensuse.org

Thanks for the feedback on this. I filed https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=543759 to get rid of the package in the default install, and I also submitted a deleterequest (#21583).
