[opensuse-gnome] Friendly request for GNOME:Community
Any chance we can get a non outdated version of Anjuta and Glade into GNOME:Community (for openSUSE 10.3) 10.3 has Anjuta 1.2.4 and Glade 2.12.1 Latest Anjuta is 2.2.1 and Latest Glade is 3.2.2 --Justin -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+help@opensuse.org
I'm working on anjuta. Needs GDL, which is the one giving me pain. -Mauro On Wed, 2007-09-26 at 17:09 -0400, Justin Haygood wrote:

Is glade3 a simple slot-in replacement for glade2? I note that it's in a different directory on ftp.gnome.org - sources/glade3 rather than sources/glade. -- James Ogley james@usr-local-bin.org http://usr-local-bin.org GNOME for openSUSE: http://software.opensuse.org/download/GNOME:/ Help end poverty: http://oxfam.org.uk/in -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+help@opensuse.org

it is a "different" application, in that it was rewritten, even though it kept the same name. But yes, we really need to update, glade3 is much better and, AFAIK, is backwards compatible with glade. -- Rodrigo Moya <rodrigo@novell.com> -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+help@opensuse.org

I have a glade3 3.4.0 package in home:maw (the package is still named glade). Totally untested, but feel free to give it a spin -- I suggest doing this in a VM or on a non-critical machine, of course :) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+help@opensuse.org

this works great for me, at least as for the initial testing I've done. -- Rodrigo Moya <rodrigo@novell.com> -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+help@opensuse.org
