[opensuse-gnome] Packages to drop
Hi, I think we should drop banshee (we're using banshee-1 now), helix-banshee (same reason) and evolution-python (integrated in python-gnome-desktop upstream). Any objection? For that last one, there is a bug open to split pythom-gnome-desktop as it has a gigantic list of dependencies... see https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=404056 for example. Also adding tapioca-sharp and telepathy-sharp which were, afaik, only packaged for banter and are useless now. Vincent -- Les gens heureux ne sont pas pressés. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+help@opensuse.org

I think Aaron needs to speak up on helix-banshee, but plain banshee
should go.

why not rename banshee-1 to banshee and remove banshee-1?

why not rename banshee-1 to banshee and remove banshee-1? This causes a lot of headache with spec file maintainability as we upgrade users from banshee to banshee-1. We had a lot of similar issues when moving users from banshee to helix-banshee. Let's just keep banshee-1.
Thanks, Jared
