[opensuse-gnome] GNOME 2.18 and GNOME:STABLE x GNOME:UNSTABLE
Hallo. Now Factory started to move to GNOME 2.19. What do you propose from these possibilities: - Move GNOME 2.18 in /usr to GNOME:STABLE. - Keep GNOME:STABLE as is and continue updating of GNOME:UNSTABLE. - Branch GNOME:2.18. -- Best Regards / S pozdravem, Stanislav Brabec software developer --------------------------------------------------------------------- SUSE LINUX, s. r. o. e-mail: sbrabec@suse.cz Lihovarská 1060/12 tel: +420 284 028 966 190 00 Praha 9 fax: +420 284 028 951 Czech Republic http://www.suse.cz/ -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+help@opensuse.org

Ditto, assuming the /usr move isn't an issue on 10.2 and older. -JP -- JP Rosevear <jpr@novell.com> Novell, Inc. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+help@opensuse.org

Done. GNOME:STABLE is frozen on last 2.18 version, GNOME:UNSTABLE will continue to follow FACTORY. I am thinking about a script following FACTORY in GNOME:STABLE for everything except new GTK+ and GNOME. The most serious issue of update is breaking .la files of packages using gtk, but not updated. It's easy to fix for people, who need it (one sed script). I will fix build issues which will very probably happen in Monday. -- Best Regards / S pozdravem, Stanislav Brabec software developer --------------------------------------------------------------------- SUSE LINUX, s. r. o. e-mail: sbrabec@suse.cz Lihovarská 1060/12 tel: +420 284 028 966 190 00 Praha 9 fax: +420 284 028 951 Czech Republic http://www.suse.cz/ -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+help@opensuse.org
