[opensuse-gnome] For 11.1 users of GNOME:Factory...
Hey, If you use G:F on 11.1, please be careful the next time you update. GNOME:Backports was changed (packages were removed while they should not have been removed), so it's not clear if things will be working fine. I'm not sure I'll have time to take a look today, and it seems we might need to change the way it works anyway (because of a cycle), so no idea when it'll get fixed right now. Dear core developers of Gnome, I would like to valuably please You, if somebody of us would try to think about adding support of multi-touch technology in gnome. The multi-touch technology is working with displays with touching sensors, and users are able for example draw by using only two finger tips, and every finger can manipulate for example with other part of actually drawed picture simultaneously. This technology is currently being presented in Microsoft Windows 7, and I Am triing to convice core developers of KDE or Gnome, if they would atleast try to discuss about this topic. The advantage of support of multi-touch technology is i think not only for physically impaired users, but also users with no physical impairment could be very, very happy because of it. Thank You very much for yOur opinion on this feature. The kindness regards. I am working on restoring the deleted packages in G:B:2.28. This repo will not (initially) have G:F as a build repo so hopefully the cyclic deps wont be an issue. Will send another email once it builds again. Cheers, Magnus -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+help@opensuse.org
