[opensuse-gnome] 11.2 is out, party time!
Hi team, A big thanks to everybody who contributed to making the GNOME experience enjoyable for users for openSUSE 11.2 :-) We were not perfect, and there are some bugs left, but we still managed to do a good job! Of course, it's time to party! Let's all make sure we have fun in the next few days to celebrate all this. And pictures are of course welcome :-) As a final note, if you find an annoying bug in 11.2, please make sure to report it and also make sure we know about it so can release online updates. It's even better if you can link to an upstream patch, obviously ;-) But I suggest we take a few weeks to focus on important bugs we want to see fixed (while also doing some factory work), so we can offer an even better desktop on 11.2! And since the maintenance work is now open to the community, we can rock there too! I'd like to thank all of you too for doing such a great job. Obviously there's been a few challenges this year affecting the GNOME Team, and at the same time, quite a few successes. Through it all, you all stuck together through and through and proved exactly what "community" means. Great job and I'm proud to be around you guys! -- Bryen Yunashko openSUSE Board Member GNOME-A11y Team Member www.bryen.com (Personal Blog) www.planet-a11y.net (Feed aggregator of the Accessibility Community) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+help@opensuse.org
