[opensuse-gnome] Software management blocked by packagekit in M7
Hi. I have a trouble with software management. I can´t launch it in M7. Notification in the pop-up window is: Accessing the Software management failed. System management is locked by the application with pid 4526 /usr/sbin/packagekitd. I thought that the packagekit is seeking updates, but it lasts long enough. If i want to start software management, i have to kill this process. Can anybody reproduce this issue? Unfortunately, its packagekit competing against yast. Give a couple/few seconds and try to launch it again. packagekit doesn't run constantly. I think there has been some work to make this cleaner though. I wait a few minutes, not seconds and it´s still locked.
I think there has been some work to make this cleaner though.
Hope this help. Let´s see in RC1.
