[opensuse-gnome] Pidgin is not ready yet to be shipped with mono support
I see that Pidgin is still compiled with mono support. What's the point in that? I have seen the code - it is terrible and no near functional, there isn't even an api exposed. I had a chat with the developer, who is now working on it for google summer of code and gave him a few pointers and some of my old code, so hopefully there should be something useful at the end. Yet as already mentioned the current code is not functional in any sense (both from developers and users prespective) and now it (the monoloader code) causes random crashes as well here[1]. So let's get of rid until the mono code is stable and functional? Will someone disable mono support in pidgin in build service or should I do it? Regards. I see that Pidgin is still compiled with mono support.
The version in GNOME:UNSTABLE has it as a subpackage and the version in GNOME:Community will too soon, probably tomorrow in fact. -- James Ogley james@usr-local-bin.org http://usr-local-bin.org GNOME for openSUSE: http://software.opensuse.org/download/GNOME:/ Help end poverty: http://oxfam.org.uk/in -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+help@opensuse.org
