Gentleman, I beg you to make sure that Sabayon is working fully before wandering off on other issues of property management. The SLAB and APP Browser are not manageable at all in the current state on 10.3. For some reason
So the ability to set the properties from a right click on the menu would help here then.
Sabayon doesn't recognize the changes made in regards to settings available in the "Main Menu" editor and some features of the "lockdown editor". Speaking of the lockdown editor, why on earth does it still reference the "Epiphany browser"? If the topic is to remain one of new features then lets start from scratch and merge all the tools into one! a Sabayon type facility that reads the same settings as what would be included in a new "desktop editor" tool would make the most sense of any energy spent in this direction.
Yes and no. Why should a user have to create a profile in Sabayon just to be able to edit the properties of Slab? If you want to improve on Sabayon, please do. If you can not help out code wise for whatever reason, please file an enhancement request in bugzilla for the pieces you think are missing. Please understand that I'm doing this on my spare time because I'm 1) Interested in learning GNOME/GTK programming and 2) Slab's code is just about perfect for a beginner like myself to jump in and learn.
