Quoting Adam Tauno Williams <awilliam@whitemice.org>:
I know this is jumping the gun [or the bug?].... but is anyone contemplating packaging GNOME 3.6 for 12.2?
Yes :)
I'm excited about 12.2, which includes GNOME 3.4, but 3.6 looks totally-awesome [THEY FIXED NOTIFICATION! YAY!].
During the entire GNOME 3.5/3.6 release process, while GNOME:Factory was frozen on the 3.4 tree, GNOME:Next followed closely what happened on the 3.6 front (but built against Factory) Just yesterday, I created the new repository GNOME:STABLE:3.6, which will build against 12.2; This repo is currently not published, as there is nothing built yet, but we'll be doing our best to have this ready for the release of GNOME 3.6 at the end of September.
