Dear All,
I would like to have on OpenSUSE 11.3 the latest stable version of Gnome. By this I don't mean the version that came with the distro, I mean the lastest stable.
It is not clear to me, however, which repos I should enable. Looking at this page:
This is documented on http://old-en.opensuse.org/GNOME/2.30 Can someone migrate this page to the new wiki? [...]
Should I add them, and in case I should, which one? I notice again that for example, the latest version of Liferea is only here.
I have to say that comapred to KDE, where the repos to add are very clear, the Gnome situation seems a bit of a mess.
Can someone help me. please?
We're going to discuss this at the next meeting. FWIW, I think that we should just give a simple one-click install link for users anyway, so you shouldn't have to care about the repository.
