Hello folks!
As you might, or might not know, we are packaging GNOME 2.26 for both Factory and openSUSE 11.1.
I'm running this myself on all my machines and I don't have any noticeable bugs, which means that you all can install and use it :-)
For 11.1, you will need to add the following repos;
http://widehat.opensuse.org/pub/repositories/GNOME:/Factory/openSUSE_11.1/ http://widehat.opensuse.org/pub/repositories/GNOME:/Backports/openSUSE_11.1/
The latter contains only two packages (dbus and libical) - am I missing something?
All of GNOME 2.26 is built in GNOME:Factory for both openSUSE 11.1 and openSUSE Factory. If the build for 11.1 requires a newer package than what we have in shipping openSUSE 11.1, we update them in GNOME:Backports. That's why you need both of these repos when updating on 11.1.
Cheers, Magnus
Hey, I just discovered this great wiki page that summarizes what Magnus just said. http://en.opensuse.org/GNOME/Repositories -- Bryen Yunashko openSUSE Board Member -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+help@opensuse.org
