Hi,
A few more comments, related to the multimedia keys:
/apps/gnome_settings_daemon/keybindings/eject set to <Control><Alt>Delete
CTRL-ALT-DEL is supposed for many users coming from other OS'es to mean restart or 'open the task manager', so having it for ejecting doesn't make sense to me. Will remove it myself if nobody disagrees
/apps/gnome_settings_daemon/keybindings/volume_mute set to 0xa0 /apps/gnome_settings_daemon/keybindings/volume_down set to 0xae /apps/gnome_settings_daemon/keybindings/volume_up set to 0xb0 /apps/gnome_settings_daemon/keybindings/eject set to 0xcc /apps/gnome_settings_daemon/keybindings/search set to 0xe5 /apps/gnome_settings_daemon/keybindings/email set to 0xec /apps/gnome_settings_daemon/keybindings/help set to 0xf5 /apps/gnome_settings_daemon/keybindings/www set to 0xb2
However, upstream, we have:
<Control><Alt>Delete already set for /apps/gnome_settings_daemon/keybindings/power (so conflict)
And those keys are used: XF86AudioMute, XF86AudioLowerVolume, XF86AudioRaiseVolume, XF86Eject, XF86Search, XF86Mail, XF86WWW (none set for /apps/gnome_settings_daemon/keybindings/help, though)
The few keys I have on this laptop don't work (there's a bug opened for this), so I can't check. But I must admit upstream defaults seem to make sense to me.
yes, seems better to me also. I'll remove the patches if nobody disagrees, and will patch upstream to include a sane default for Help -- Rodrigo Moya <rodrigo@novell.com> -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+help@opensuse.org
